Bristol City and their Promotion Push As a season ticker holder at Bristol City FC, it's been a long season. We were the bookmakers favourites to get relegated, yet against all the odds we have defied the critics and not only stayed in the league, but we have also ensured we would make the play offs! Since September 07 - when we went top of the league, albeit for a few hours - we haven't dropped out of the top six! I for one am pleased that we are only 3 matches away from the Premier League! Do I think it will happen? Well... yes and no... all season we have had an almighty lot of luck, last minute goals here and there, penalty saves and luckiest of all - we Bristol City have cocked up - other teams around us have also done the same thing! For example, on Saturday, 26 April, had the results gone differently - we could be going into the last game needing to win to secure the play offs, yet we lost and all the other teams messed up - and we secured the play offs! Doesn't make sense!! lol Anyway - onwards and upwards from here!!
